CW: MagnaGuard IG-100 (Movie Ver.)

Magna Guards... Created by General Grievous to serve as his personal bodyguards in the Clone Wars....

Hasbro offers collectors , this highly advance Battle droid figure for both the Clone Wars animated and movie versions.

Received this revised CW animated Magna Guard back in March

Now i have for your viewing pleasure, 2010 Vintage Collection (Movie Ver) Magna Guard:

Removable chest & spine piece

Figure is highly articulated below the waist and offers Ball jointed hips, ball hinged knees & ankles. (figure still has a swivel forearm)

Comments:
Pity that i did not receive this figure completed, it was still lacking its cape and droid blaster pistol....

The Overall paint jobs great!(Yeah!!!)
With the correct amount of weathering across the entire body, which is a an overall thumbs UP for Hasbro!

The only complain i have about the figure is its Electrostaff, the ends of the staff looks huge, as if two light bulbs were stuck to each end of it....
Overall if your a huge fan of the Movie version of the Magna Guard,then its an great figure to pick up and as a bonus this figure comes in the retro looking "vintage" collection packaging.

As for me, the animated clone wars version still ROCKS! (both 1st and revised versions)

Toy Shop i like!

Always wondered, what it will be like to own a toy store, don't you?

So i took up space in China Square Central (in china town ), in Andrew shop, called Toyz Crazi. This complex is packed with Toy stores and on weekends its filled with other collectors, selling their stuff, really cool stuff.

CW: SENATE COMMANDO

Senate Commando are the elite force that are attached to the Senate Guard, they serve as aggressive and highly trained police force that operates on Coruscant.

Only the best and the bravest are selected to become Senate Commando's, they are resolute to the cause of protecting the Galactic Senate at any cost.

Towards the end of the Clone War, Chancellor Palpatine, hand pick several Senate Commando to be his personal bodyguard and was given the name THE RED GUARD.
Finally i have several Senate Commando Captain! absolutely love them from the first time i saw them in the CW 22 - Hostage Crisis.

Figure Overview

Helmet Sculpt

Articulation:
This figure offers a standard trooper articulation.
Point of Interest:
- Fully covered Helmet compare to Captain Argyus
- Detailed paint marks, across armor.

Verdict
Argyus was great, however this Senate Commando are AWESOME!

It's the evolution of the Roman Guard, the design of the character are well sculpted into this figure. The additional paint detailing on the figure, really enhance the overall look of the figure, but may cause a problem when choosing them, so be very careful of the Paint job on each figure.

I have yet to receive the normal senate guard, but cant wait to get them all together.
